FAQ

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
During the holiday season, life happens—I completely understand. Because of the high demand for these sessions, limited availability on my calendar, and the cost of reserving studio spaces, I can't guarantee that rescheduling will be possible. If a reschedule can be accommodated, it will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and any additional studio rental fees will be the client's responsibility.
If you need to cancel your session, please let me know as soon as possible. You're welcome to sell or transfer your session to a friend or family member—just be sure to let me know so I can update my records.
Please note that all retainers are non-refundable.
How does the booking process work from start to finish?
Booking is easy! Simply choose your preferred date and time, fill out the booking form, and pay your retainer to reserve your spot.
In the notes section, it helps me so much if you tell me who will be joining the session. For example: "I'm bringing my husband and our two daughters (ages 3 and 1)." This helps me prepare so I can create the best experience for your family.
In the weeks leading up to your session, you'll receive reminder emails, along with a reminder text during the week of your session.
On picture day, all you have to do is show up ready to laugh, snuggle, and make memories! You'll receive a few sneak peeks within 24 hours, and your full gallery will be delivered within two weeks.
If you have any questions before your session, don't hesitate to reach out by email, Instagram, or text. I'm always happy to help and want your experience to feel as seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible for your family.
What should we wear?
I generally recommend a variety of textures to help give variation but keep the colors relatively consistent across your family. Each space has a different color palette that I recommend drawing inspiration from. Heavily patterned clothing should be a small part of the overall picture (a small bow, a vest, or a hat). If you have little ones, make sure they have a chance to try their outfit on and that it is relatively comfortable for them (it doesn't have to be their favorite thing, just comfy enough to last) - nothing makes a two year old more upset than an uncomfortable outfit that they absolutely don't want to wear! Please reach out with any questions for your specific location and family, I love helping with outfits!
Do you post all images on social media?
No. I always ask for your permission before sharing your family's images on my website, social media, or in any marketing materials.
If you already know you'd prefer to keep your photos private, simply let me know in the notes section when booking or mention it at your session. I'm always happy to honor your wishes.
